This photo is small mouth (fry), taken
April 29th,
2006 hatched in 1 bed. Three others had also hatched that we found
the
same day. On the 3 beds that hatched, Bronze Back Guide Service
(BBGS) landed all 3 fish on April 9 through the 11th. These fish
where caught between 2 & 3 times apiece!
Not believable?
Well check out the pictures! Number 9 &
Number 13 pay close attention to the tail,
it's missing the bottom half from fanning the bed. BBGS landed this
fish the day before we took a client & his son. This fish was 21
inches.
The same on Number 18 &
Number 20, BBGS caught this fish on March 29, 2006 and my son caught
the same fish off the bed on March 30. This fish was 21 1/4
inches and weighed 4 pounds 6 ounces.We also caught
another fish within 100 yards of that fish that was 22 inches 4
pounds 12 ounces Number 21.
That same day another fisherman told me on the same water
and I quote
"Fish
don't go on the bed until mid to late April and they don't spawn
in this type of water",
I SURE LIKE THE WAY HE THINKS!
